These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of any services provided by RNS-X-RAY Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services
We provide specialist automotive infotainment services including:
- Hardware repairs
- Software updates
- Map updates
- Feature activations
- Coding services
- Diagnostic services
All services are subject to compatibility and fault assessment.
3. Orders & Payment
3.1 Retail Customers (Online Orders)
Full payment is required prior to commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or approved third-party payment providers. Work will not commence until cleared funds are received.
3.2 Trade / Invoiced Customers
Where payment terms are agreed in advance, invoices must be paid within the specified period (e.g. 14 days). Late payments may result in statutory interest being applied under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Mail-In Repairs
Customers sending units to us must:
- Ensure safe packaging
- Use tracked shipping
- Include contact details
- Include proof of purchase where applicable
We are not responsible for damage occurring in transit to us. Risk transfers to us only upon safe receipt of the unit.
5. Diagnostic & Bench Fee
All units received are subject to professional diagnostic inspection and bench testing. If a unit is found to be:
- Unrepairable
- Beyond economical repair
- Severely damaged
- Affected by liquid ingress
- Affected by electrical surge damage
- Previously tampered with or modified
- Not viable for repair
A diagnostic bench fee of £49.99 will apply.
This fee covers:
- Specialist fault assessment
- Bench testing
- Diagnostic labour time
- Reporting of findings
Where a refund is due (for example where payment was made in advance and repair is not possible), the £49.99 bench fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. The bench fee is non-refundable.
6. Turnaround Times
Estimated turnaround times are guidelines only and do not form part of a binding contract. Delays may occur due to parts availability or fault complexity.
7. Warranty
All repair services are covered under the RNS-X-RAY Ltd Warranty Policy.
- 6-month standard warranty included
- Optional 24-month extended warranty available at additional cost
- Warranty covers the original repaired fault only
- New or unrelated faults are not covered

8. Software & Digital Services
- Digital services are non-refundable once delivered
- Compatibility responsibility rests with the customer unless pre-confirmed by us
- Limited functional guarantee for activation failure only
9. Cancellations
Retail Customers (Consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days. However:
- If work has commenced with your consent, cancellation rights may be reduced
- Digital services supplied immediately may be non-refundable once activated
Trade Customers
Cancellation rights may not apply once work has commenced.
10. Returns
Warranty returns must be:
- Approved prior to return
- Adequately packaged
- Sent tracked
Return shipping to us is the customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
11. Limitation of Liability
- Loss of vehicle use
- Loss of income
- Data loss
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Installation-related damage
- Vehicle electrical faults outside the repaired unit
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights.
12. Retention of Title
Repaired goods remain the property of RNS-X-RAY Ltd until paid in full where invoiced work is provided. We reserve the right to retain goods until outstanding balances are settled.
13. Compatibility & Customer Responsibility
- Confirm compatibility where uncertain
- Provide accurate vehicle details
- Disclose previous repair attempts
- Install units correctly
Incorrect installation may void warranty.

15. Intellectual Property
All website content, images, text, branding, and materials remain the property of RNS-X-RAY Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
